Wow. Now that Chris Weitz ain't doing eclipse, Summit is looking for a new director. There are already reports on possible candidates: From Ace Showbiz : Rumor has it, Drew Barrymore is one of the potential candidates for directing "Eclipse". The speculation has been chucked in by Entertainment Weeklywhen reporting that Summit Entertainment are looking forward to secure a director for the third installment of the "Twilight" saga.  "As Summit Entertainment looks to lock in a director for the third installment of the Twilight series, Eclipse, the company is talking to a select group of directors - including actress-turned-helmer Drew Barrymore," so wrote the trade. Kristen Stewart is featured on the cover of the latest issue of Nylon Magazine. She talks about a a few stuff, among others: On the Twilight Madness:  “Anywhere we’d go for Twilight was a psychotic situation. The sound was deafening, and it’s thoughtless, as well… You get a slew of all these bullshit questions like, ‘What’s it like to kiss a vampire?’ and ‘How much do you love Robert?’ Then you’ll get one that’s actually real, but you’re like, ‘No, I can’t right now, I can’t even consider [it].” On her memorable David Letterman appearance:  “I feel like I have nothing to say on those shows… I’m not good at the funny thing—most people are really great on those shows.  I don’t have a contrived personality that [I can] just pump out [for] a five-minute segment, so I end up sitting there and looking kind of baffled.  Embarassing.” And no, she’s not dating Robert Pattinson. “It’s just totally false… Rob and I are good friends.  We went through a lot together, so we feel very close.

LA Times reports that presenters (which includes Rob) and performers might NOT walk down the red carpet. WTH? Photographers at the Film Independent Spirit Awards are grousing that A-list Oscar presenters and performers are being asked NOT to walk the red carpet tomorrow. Something about the special stars sneaking into the Kodak Theatre through a basement entrance.... The reason may be to steal ratings from those way-too-exciting Oscar arrivals pre-shows. And to force viewers to actually watch the darn three-hour show to see their favorite stars, of course. So don’t be too surprised if you don’t see, say, "Twilight” stars and presenters Robert Pattinson and (maybe) Kristen Stewart walking the red carpet. Remember to catch the Oscars tomorrow morning, 23 Feb: 4.00 a.m. (red carpet), and 9.oo a.m. (main show) on E! New edition of Quickies for ya. Some people think too much. The Deadbolt looks deeper into the colour scheme for the newly-revealed new moon logo. Too bad. The release date for Little Ashes has been pushed back to May 8 from its initial date of March 27. The March date was significant as it marked the opening of Kristen's movie, Adventureland .  Rachelle Lefevre reveals some new moon details. Eclipse now has a tentative release date. Nikki Finke from Deadline Hollywood Daily reports that eclipse has been set for release on 3oth June 2010. That's about 6 months after new moon . Is there even time to shoot eclipse and new moon back-to-back? Apparently not. EW reports that Chris Weitz will not be directing eclipse . Chris Weitz will not direct the third film in the Twilight series, Eclipse, a source close to the production tells EW.com exclusively. Because New Moon, which Weitz is helming, and Eclipse are due to be released so close together (on Nov. 20, 2009, and June 30, 2010, respectively), Weitz will be in post-production on New Moon at the same time that Eclipse will be shooting. That said, the source confirms a report that the movies will not be shot simultaneously or back-to-back; there will be a brief gap between the production of both films.

Yay!! MTV has the exclusive official artwork for new moon . The new logo is now orange in colour instead of blue, and the movie is titled " The Twilight Saga New Moon "... way too many words. We know it as new moon . although the artwork suggests that the title's gonna be 5 words long, it will not be. It will ust be called new moon . E! reports. And despite earlier reports that the movie would be known as The Twilight Saga's New Moon, the title will remain New Moon according to the movie's rep. They just have Twilight Saga in the artwork to identify it for anyone less devoted than your average fanggirl. But there is a distinguishing difference in this title sequence, which will be in orange rather than the blue of the original. RPattz has said that he will not be recording new tracks for new moon .  Contact Music says that he sees music as a back-up career. TWILIGHT star ROBERT PATTINSON has turned down the chance to contribute to the soundtrack for the vampire movie's forthcoming sequel - because he wants to keep music as a back up career. The British actor is a talented composer, pianist and guitarist and wrote two songs for the original movie, helping the soundtrack top the U.S. album charts upon its release last year (08).  But Pattinson insists he's now taking a backseat to rockers Paramore, who are penning the title track to the movie's sequel, New Moon - because pursuing music professionally was never his intention. He tells America's OK! magazine, "I really didn't want it to look like I was trying to cash in. Oh no!! Here's another new moon casting/soundtrack news. Rumours (aren't they a stinker?) are surfacing that Madonna might be involved in new moon !! According to Ryan Seacrest on E! News, Madonna will be involved in the sequel to “Twilight” which the second movie will be made on the second book of the “Twilight Saga”, “New Moon”. Guy Oseary is the executive producer to the movie starring Robert Pattison and Kristen Stewart. It is unknown to whether Madonna will either act in the second installment to the saga film or sing for the soundtrack or both. Twilight Lexicon went deeper into this rumour and they seem to think this is simply a rumour... Did anyone who reads our blog actually hear Ryan Seacrest’s show and actually hear him mention this info? There is zip, nada, nothing to substantiate this over on E! Yay! We have a new reason to watch this year's Academy Awards !! HitFix has confirmed that Robert Pattinson will be preseinting at the ceremony. HitFix can now exclusively confirm that Robert Pattinson will be presenting an award during this year’s telecast. The “Twilight” star had long been rumored to appear on Hollywood’s biggest night, but barring any unforeseen last minute conflicts, he’ll be giving the franchise’s legion of fans something to look forward to on Oscar Sunday. No word yet whether Kristen Stewart will be tagging along. Still unclear is whether Pattinson’s “Twilight” co-star Kristen Stewart will also appear on the telecast and what award he will specifically present. And, obviously, speculation will now run rampant on who Pattinson’s date down the red carpet will be.

Hey guys! Rob sends out his Valentine's Day wish though a video. Taylor also share some love. He says that he gives roses and hand-made cards for Valentine’s Day ! Taylor Lautner tells Popstar! Magazine that on that day he usually buys roses to be given to people who are close to him. “Roses for mom, roses for everybody! I’m a rosy kind of guy!” he says. Besides, he also likes “to do cards.” About that he claims, “I rarely go out and buy cards from a store. I hand-make them. They’re not superfantastic, but I’ll hand-make them and I get a little artsy and burn the edges and stuff and make it look cool!” Source

OME!! E! reports that although not given a nod, twilight  will be present at this year's Academy Awards ceremony. Twilight may not be nominated for any Oscars, but that doesn't mean the movie won't be a part of Hollywood's biggest night on Feb. 22. "I promise you, there will be a presence," Laurence Mark, a first-time producer of this year's Academy Awards, tells me. "You'll see. Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson dons a mustache – and a heavy accent – for his next role as Spanish surrealist painter Salvador Dalí in Little Ashes. PEOPLE has an exclusive clip of the movie, which is set in 1922 and focuses on Dalí as a young man in love with the poet Federico GarcÍa Lorca, played by Javier Beltrán. It was also revealed (or leaked..) that despite being given more moeny for new moon, Catherine Hardwicke had to turn down new moon because "she’d have to shoot new moon under a tight deadline and modest budget".
