Is Rob walking down the Oscar red carpet?

LA Times reports that presenters (which includes Rob) and performers might NOT walk down the red carpet. WTH?
Photographers at the Film Independent Spirit Awards are grousing that A-list Oscar presenters and performers are being asked NOT to walk the red carpet tomorrow.
Something about the special stars sneaking into the Kodak Theatre through a basement entrance....
The reason may be to steal ratings from those way-too-exciting Oscar arrivals pre-shows. And to force viewers to actually watch the darn three-hour show to see their favorite stars, of course.
So don’t be too surprised if you don’t see, say, "Twilight” stars and presenters Robert Pattinson and (maybe) Kristen Stewart walking the red carpet.
Remember to catch the Oscars tomorrow morning, 23 Feb:
4.00 a.m. (red carpet), and 9.oo a.m. (main show) on E! (Astro ch. 712), with a repeat at 8.00 p.m.
9.oo a.m (main show), with a primetime repeat at 8.00 p.m. on Star Movies (Astro ch. 413)

10 years after twilight , director Catherine Hardwicke opens up to The Daily Beast on new details on the film, some we've never known before. Ten years ago, the Twilight film franchise was an unknown quantity. In fact, Catherine Hardwicke, the director of the first Twilight, was surrounded by film executives who all but expected the vampire flick to fail. “Nobody thought this is a big, blockbuster franchise,” Hardwicke tells the Daily Beast. “There were very low expectations for Twilight, because every other studio had turned it down.
