MTV continues its coverage on everything Twilight in anticipation for tonight's awards show. While touring her house, Catherine Hardwicke showed the MTV crew her bed, where Rob and Kristen auditioned. Catherine Hardwicke takes pride in doing things differently than most directors. For years, she's held "chemistry reads" at her house, switching out various actors while making them feel at home. And, as is now the stuff of "Twilight" legend, 18 months ago she invited two young actors named Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart into her bedroom. "This is the bed. That's where we had the first kiss between Rob and Kristen," Hardwicke beamed on Thursday when we visited her home just blocks from the beach, to celebrate such MTV Movie Awards moments as the Best Kiss nominee born on her own personal bed. "We did the audition — the chemistry read — here to see if these two would have chemistry. To see if their kiss would be exciting and cool.

I know we all can't wait for the MTV Movie Awards!! When MTV visited Catherine Hardwicke, she gave her reason on why Twilight should get the award for Best Kiss. Movie Trailers - Movies Blog Radar Online also gave their view on this: When it comes to Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s forbidden vampire-on-human kiss, Demirjian [Andrea Demirjian, the author of Kissing: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About One of Life’s Sweetest Pleasures]  was impressed. “I looked at this one a few times, cuz I was like, ‘whoa!’” she laughed. “The kiss was so sexy, just the way their lips were grazing against each other—it wasn’t deep-throat tongue kissing.” Part of the appeal of this silver-screen kiss is the tension, Demirjian said, which gave the eventual smooch “all the perfect makings of suspense and anticipation. And that makes a kiss more desirous.” Let's wait and see, shall we? :D

Finally!! MTV revealed that the exclusive clip that will be aired during the MTV Movie Awards will be THE New Moon trailer!!! We can reveal that the never-before-seen video that Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will be introducing on Sunday's live show is the movie's first trailer. The stars will present the premiere of the "New Moon" trailer on the Movie Awards, airing at 9:00 pm ET on Sunday. Chris Weitz is spotted on set. A fan, Yunfa , reports: The director of New Moon, Chris Weitz in the little Montepulciano, having a pre-production meeting with the crew. They were discussing about shots and frames, where to film and how to do it. An extra also shared the experience of being on the set. The crew was very quick and organized, and divided all the extras into groups: “the drivers”, “the reds”, and “the blacks”. We felt like the prey of the production company. They then offered us breakfast, which I was grateful for since my stomach was complaining more than Rosalie. Me and all the other drivers (there were about a hundred of us), were then told to park in the front of the main entrance of the town, where a yellow Porsche was also parked! My God, what a beautiful car! The rest of the extras were taken inside the city wall, where they would be shooting the reunion between Edward and Bella later in the week. Reports: NewMoonMovie

Paramore has revealed that they might not be recording a track for the New Moon soundtrack! Paramore's Hayley Williams shared to Denver Westword: "I don't want to be known as the 'Twilight' house band, so I think it'd be better if we leave it. Because it was such a great thing, maybe it'd be better to leave it there. Obviously, if we change our minds and everyone's cool with it, fine. Rob attended the annual Cinema Against AIDS gala in Cannes. The event is hosted by Sharon Stone, with Bill Clinton attending and Annie Lennox will be performing. He looks soo good in a tux :D Also, at the event, he was auctioned off, with proceeds going to charity. Lainey Gossip reports: Pattinson has solidified his new super celebrity status as Summit successfully maneuvered their golden boy through Cannes this week culminating on the carpet last night at Inglourious Bastards where he received a very, very enthusiastic welcome. Some girl collapsed, fell to her knees, when his image was beamed up on the big screen. She was young though. Forgiveable. Cinema Blend confirms that Rob has a new movie coming up, titled Bel Ami , based an a short story of the same name by French author Guy de Maupassant. The short story follows a young journalist who find himself face to face with a corrupt society full of corrupt people. To survive he becomes one of them: a master seducer, a blackmailer, and shameless social climber. Speaking to Variety director Declan Donnellan describes the character as “totally amoral.” Basically he’s kind of a dick which, based on his work in Twilight, I can see the naturally aloof Pattinson pulling off with total ease. 

Looks like the city of Montepulciano is preparing for New Moon. Twilighters Italia reports that red flags and banners have begun to spring up all around Montepulciano in preparation for the scenes that will be filmed for New Moon soon in the Italian city. A giant fountain is being constructed in front of the fateful clock tower as well. The red flags are because of the old district that is going to be used in the Piazza Grande shot. The production chose some of the districts in Montepulciano with red colors, the ones mainly used during the celebration. In particular they chose the Voltaia district, asking them to participate as extras to the movie, in the mob, to show the feeling of an organized carnival, with flags and costumes really existing. Also, Alice's yellow Porsche was also spotted in Montepulciano. Mauro secretly told us that there are two yellow porsche in Montepulciano, placed in different places of the town. Lainey Gossip reports: Kristen Stewart in Vancouver on Monday, day after the New Moon wrap party, where my sources say she was smoking some BC bud, on her way in and out of a hair appointment looking like it was a rough night. Kristen is back at work on set today shooting Bella sad and depressed at home scenes. 

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Rob confirmed to them in Cannes that Breaking Dawn will be made into a movie. Pattinson told The Hollywood Reporter that he is committed to starring in the final outing to date but doesn't know when backers Summit Entertainment will begin production because of the actor's jam-packed shooting schedule. Fans have been hoping for a movie version of the fourth novel from Stephenie Meyer's best-sellers, so Pattinson's commitment is the biggest fillip yet. The fourth book (caution -- spoiler alert) centers on Bella and Edward's marriage and her subsequent pregnancy.  Dropping in on the Croisette on the way to shooting the final four days of "New Moon" in Italy on Friday, Pattinson said he is heading back to Vancouver in October to finish up "Twilight: Eclipse," the third installment. In between, the British actor, who turned 23 last week, plans to star in "Remember Me," which Summit also is producing.
