Former Under The Dome star Rachelle Lefevre is set as a lead opposite Jack Davenport in ABC’s thriller drama pilot Doomsday, from producer Carol Mendelsohn and Sony TV.
Lefevre will play Faye, the whip-smart and shrewd Deputy Director of Homeland Security who is at the helm when the Doomsday team reassembled to help thwart an attack on U.S. soil. Coldly pragmatic, she initially has little reverence for her assemblage of geniuses but during the course of the mission, she develops a growing respect for the team.
Gil Birmingham (Billy Black in the Twilight saga) is currently starring in a new film, Hell or High Water. A Un Certain Regard selection at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, this film also stars Chris Pine, Jeff Bridges, and Ben Foster.
United again after years of separation, two brothers work together to rob the branches of the bank threatening to foreclose on their family land. Just when things seem to go their way, they come across a Texas Ranger, who is looking for one last pursuit before his retirement. As the brothers plot their final heist, they will have to face the ranger and his half-Comanche partner, Alberto.
Rated 18, and locally distributed by TGV Pictures, Hell or High Water is now screening in cinemas nationwide.
