'Eclipse' Grabs Razzie Noms

Image
Unwanted, but expected. Somehow what fans like doesn't influence what critics hate. Eclipse has gotten itself a few nominations for the Razzie awards. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Eclipse is nominated for nine "awards," including: worst picture, worst screen ensemble, worst actor (Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson), worst actress (Kristen Stewart), worst supporting actor (Jackson Rathbone for both Eclipse and The Last Airbender), worst director (David Slade), worst screenplay (Melissa Rosenberg), and worst sequel. via Twiexaminer

Robert Pattinson Says 'Twilight' Finale Is Like 'The End Of An Era'

Image
LA Times got a quick interview with Rob at the Golden Globes recently. “It’s been really hard shooting both films at the same time,” admitted the 24-year-old star, moments before he had run backstage to present his award with “Tron” star Olivia Wilde. “But it’s the end of an era.” That era certainly will be one that Summit Entertainment, the films’ distributor, not to mention the franchise’s devoted fans, will be sorry to see go. Starting with 2008’s “Twilight,” the fantasy romance that first saw Pattinson’s handsome, brooding vampire encounter his mortal love, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart), the movie series has taken in roughly $1.8 billion at the worldwide box office, as audiences lined up to see Swan wrestle with her feelings for her immortal boyfriend and her best friend, Jacob (Taylor Lautner), a werewolf, over the course of the next two films, 2009's "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" and 2010's "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse." At the start of the fi...

Peter Facinelli Raves About Kristen Stewart As A Vampire

Movie Trailers - Movies Blog Peter Facinelli is giving Kristen praises for being an awesome vampire in Breaking Dawn . "She's doing really well. She looks fantastic," he raved about Stewart's transition to a vampire for the final films in the series. "For some reason, once they put those contact lenses in, you look very statuesque." Facinelli wouldn't go into detail about shooting the last two films in the franchise with director Bill Condon and the rest of the "Breaking Dawn" crew, but he did admit that things have been very action-packed. "We've been shooting the last two weeks with a lot of vampires," he said. "I don't want to give away too much, but if you've read the books, it's the standoff with lots of vampires in play. There's like 70 people going through the works at once. It's a little maddening, but fun. "We shot pretty much the ending of the two movies the other day," he ad...

New 'Breaking Dawn' Still Released

Image
Summit released a new still from Breaking Dawn in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly . Forget about Team Edward or Jacob. "It's always been Bella's story," says director Bill Condon (Dreamgirls), who was tapped to oversee the final installments of the Twilight franchise (Part 2 is due in theaters in 2012). "She starts the first of these two movies as the Bella we know. But then the journey she takes ... it's just epic."  Even if you don't know each plot twist and turn from the final book in Stephenie Meyer's best-selling series, every self-respecting Twihard is aware that Breaking Dawn features Bella (Kristen Stewart and Edward (Robert Pattinson) becoming vampire man and wife and sharing a marital bed for the first time. "Finally!" laughs Condon. "It is one of the most anticipated scenes, and I spent a tremendous amount of time thinking about it. You want to play with what people expect and maybe subvert it a little and s...

Wyck Godfrey Reveals Breaking Dawn Details

Image
It's not that I am against this, but I felt that the details should have not been revealed as to keep the suspense when we go watch Breaking Dawn at the end of the year. Alas, as most fans requested (read: demanded) them, producer Wyck Godfrey revealed details about Breaking Dawn! He revealed to USA Today  the splitting point of both parts, Jacob's POV, as well as the birth and intimate scenes between Bella and Edward.

Rob, Kristen, and Taylor will be at the People's Choice Awards

Image
It has been confirmed!! Rob Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner will be present for the upcoming People's Choice Awards 2010. Gossip Cop confirmed that RPattz will indeed be taking some time off from filming "Breaking Dawn" to join his two costars at the People's Choice Awards tomorrow night. Considering Rob was nominated for Favorite Movie Actor, while the film was nominated in two categories (Favorite Movie and Favorite Drama Movie), we hoped he'd at least make an appearance! Like Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert Downey Jr. and TLaut even have a chance of beating him. As previously mentioned, Taylor is also nominated in the Favorite Movie Actor category, and Kristen is nominated as Favorite Movie Actress. Considering the People's Choice Awards are fan-voted and not determined by a panel of judges, there's a high, high likelihood that "Eclipse" will sweep the awards show. via MTV , Gossip Cop
