Kellen Lutz not a vampire.





Kellan Lutz is trading in his vampire fangs for a whole other kind of family drama in the upcoming Cedars of Lebanon, The Wrap reports.
The 24-year-old actor will play one of two brothers abandoned by their father and left to grow up on their own.
According to the official website, Cedars of Lebanon is a bittersweet tale of redemption, the story of Barry Deutchman’s ride upon the wave of his narcissistic father’s abandonment.
Growing up in the San Fernando Valley during the 70’s, this latch key kid struggles to thrive and grow where he is planted…atop very shallow roots. Forced to take care of his desperate single mother and angry younger brother…all while trying to heal his own wounded heart…he hits one brick wall after another. The story unfolds as Barry matures from boy to man. A self-medicating actor…with a young wife and kids of his own to nurture…he blindly sets off down the universal road of unbroken cycles. The reality portrayed in this cross-generational, character driven drama explores the progression and consequences of dysfunction in one American family. After a compassionate intervention and Barry’s own crisis of faith, he ultimately rises again…the cycle is broken and selfless love prevails.

10 years after twilight , director Catherine Hardwicke opens up to The Daily Beast on new details on the film, some we've never known before. Ten years ago, the Twilight film franchise was an unknown quantity. In fact, Catherine Hardwicke, the director of the first Twilight, was surrounded by film executives who all but expected the vampire flick to fail. “Nobody thought this is a big, blockbuster franchise,” Hardwicke tells the Daily Beast. “There were very low expectations for Twilight, because every other studio had turned it down. They said, OK, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants was a very popular book for girls, and it made $39 million. That’s it.
