Here's an oldie but a goodie. Art of VFX posted up interviews (from 2012, FYI) with two guys who worked on the special effects for Breaking Dawn Part 1 and 2 . Eric Leven , the VFX Supervisor from Tippett Studio, worked on the wolves. How was the collaboration with director Bill Condon? It was the best part of the film; Bill was incredibly collaborative and really allowed us to take the wolf scenes where we wanted to go with them. He also treated the wolves as characters, and not props or “assets”. His direction was “Jacob seems sad, but should be concerned” instead of “Jacob’s head is too low”. This is absolutely the best way to work with a director and I think made the scenes with the wolves as good as they could be. What have you done on this show? MBO Cinemas is having a free screening of movies, and in the list is Breaking Dawn Part 2 ! The screening takes place at MBO Citta Mall , Ara Damansara in Petaling Jaya. Twilight Poison wrote up an open letter to the entire Twilight fandom, regarding the MTV Movie Awards and its single nomination for Breaking Dawn Part 2 . It's a massive watch-along in support of Breaking Dawn Part 2 , and instead of watching the MTV Movie Awards, the fandom will be watching the movie instead. They will also be having a giveaway. I won't be able to watch the show, anyway, but I guess I'll be tweeting along to show my support for the 'cause'. If you're on Twitter and wish to support our beloved fandom, tweet #BreakingDawnPart2Night during the show and help to make it trend worldwide! The DVD and VCD for Breaking Dawn Part 2 is now available in stores. It is priced at RM 19.90 for VCD, and RM39.90 for DVD (prices may vary according to retail outlet). As I mentioned earlier , there are practically no extras on the DVD, and that's very depressing. I didn't check if they had Blu-Ray.

This is crazy. Breaking Dawn Part 2 only got one single nomination for the MTV Movie Awards. For four years in a row, the Saga has been sweeping the award show with multiple wins, including Best Picture.  So naturally, they don't want the Saga to win anymore, so they gave only one nomination this year. I think that the nomination is a bit ridiculous and unnecessary, though.  Best Shirtless Performance - Taylor Lautner Yea. Taylor was hardly shirtless in the second movie. The entire fandom (including you and me) was expecting something more, like Best Kiss or Best Fight or Best Movie. That final fake battle was EPIC. Some fans on Twitter has protested and started a campaign to watch Breaking Dawn Part 2 instead of the Movie Awards when it airs, " #WatchBD2NotMMAs ". Of course, that's entire up to you. You may choose to vote HERE . Or not. I'll probably vote a few times, to support Taylor, not MTV. I'll probably tune in to watch Rebel Wilson ...

The Breaking Dawn Part 2 DVD has finally been released in the States, and Film School Rejects has posted up bits and info of the film from the commentary by Bill Condon, the director, from that DVD as well as the extended edition fo the Part 1 DVD. *SPOILERS*.  1. The first part originally opened with a scene in which the Volturi get an invite to Bella and Edward’s wedding. The scene was cut because Condon wanted to keep the full focus on Bella and have it be her story and allow the threat in this film to be more intimate. The scene was re-inserted in the extended edition for those watching both movies as a whole.
