Here's an oldie but a goodie. Art of VFX posted up interviews (from 2012, FYI) with two guys who worked on the special effects for Breaking Dawn Part 1 and 2 . Eric Leven , the VFX Supervisor from Tippett Studio, worked on the wolves. How was the collaboration with director Bill Condon? It was the best part of the film; Bill was incredibly collaborative and really allowed us to take the wolf scenes where we wanted to go with them. He also treated the wolves as characters, and not props or “assets”. His direction was “Jacob seems sad, but should be concerned” instead of “Jacob’s head is too low”. This is absolutely the best way to work with a director and I think made the scenes with the wolves as good as they could be. What have you done on this show? We created the all digital wolves for both BREAKING DAWN 1 and 2. Can you tell us more about the snowflakes creation? The snowflakes we generated for only for sticking in the wolves’ fur, and our effects ...

Ashley Greene will be attending a Breaking Dawn Pt 2 fan event in South Africa, on 25th October, just in case any of you are heading there this month ;) FYI, R100 (that's South African Rand; ZAR ) = RM34.96 Ashley Greene – better known to Twi-hards as Alice Cullen – will be visiting South Africa at the end of October as part of the ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2′ global tour to promote the film’s upcoming release on 16 November. She will visit the country to participate in media interviews as well as an exclusive fan event. Nu Metro Films will be hosting this fan event at Nu Metro Montecasino on Thursday, October 25th. The event includes a screening of the previous instalment of the saga, ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1′ followed by a Q&A session with Ms. Greene. Tickets are R100 each. There will be a Breaking Dawn Pt 2 fan event in Sydney, and Rob has been confirmed to attend! Rob will be in Down Under on 22nd October. FilmInk : As part of the Sydney only tour later this month, Robert will be participating in media interviews to support the NOVEMBER 15 release of the film, and will appear at a fan event on Monday 22nd October, details of which will be revealed in the coming weeks. This is cool! If you're heading to Japan soon, head's up! There will be a Breaking Dawn Pt 2 fan event there, and Kristen Stewart will be present. The best part is that each ticket comes with a set of B5 posters from the entire saga. I believe these are called eiga chirashi.   The tickets will be sold starting from 18th October, and will be held at the Shinjuku Piccadilly cinema. Here's a new vampire character poster featuring Peter (Erik Odom). I think he's a nomad, seeing as how the coven posters are already released. There's also an interview with Erik. Peter, the vampire who was spared by his best friend Jasper Hale during the vicious Southern Wars, wanders the continent with his mate Charlotte and descends upon Forks, Washington in the Cullen family’s time of need. In Breaking Dawn - Part 2 Bella notes, “The nomads Rosalie and Emmett sent were even more unpredictable -- especially Peter, who had fought alongside Jasper as a newborn.”  You’ll see him next in Rogue Machine Theater's A Bright New Boise, which kicks off next weekend in Los Angeles! Q: When you walked into Comic-Con [at the end of the Breaking Dawn – Part 2 cast panel], you got some of the biggest shouts out of all the newcomers. How did that feel? Erik: It was unbelievable. Toni Trucks will be playing Mary , a nomadic vampire in the movie. Honestly, I can't remember anything about her much. Anyway, here's an interview with Toni. Q: There’s not a whole lot of information on your character in the books, so did you have any conversations with Stephenie [Meyer] or even with Melissa Rosenberg, or did you get to build a lot for yourself? Toni: We did get to build a lot. I did pull Stephenie aside – I think a lot of us did – and Stephenie was, I mean, how rare to have contact with the writer right there every day with us, so it was such a treat. But she really gave us the freedom to create the characters that we needed to do the daily work, with the disclaimer that what we needed to do to get the work done may be different than what would possibly end up in like the ultimate Twilight Guide and stuff like that. So, she definitely prepared us for that, but she gave us the freedom ... She told us what she had written and then gave us the freedom to do...

The official tracklist of the final film soundtrack is out! Apart from a handful of unknown musicians, you guys would probably know most of them. The final film has an official rating and runtime. In the States, the MPAA has given the film a PG13 rating, for “sequences of violence including disturbing images, some sensuality and partial nudity.” Malaysia would probably use the same rating, but that is yet unknown. As for the runtime, the film is the shortest of all 5 films in the saga.
